....and the monster kept getting bigger.

The behemoth known as Deutsche Post - which has acquired DHL/Airborne, Danzas, and AEI in the past - is making a bid for logistics giant Exel. If the bid goes through, it would create the largest logistics company in the world. UPS has also courted Exel in the past and apparently is still a possible player in this drama.

Personally, I don't know how much more Deutsche Post can continue to expand and absorb more companies without wearing itself thin. It will be interesting to see what happens.
